Members of Japanese scientific and business community have visited MEI RAS once again. The meeting was attended by MEI RAS director, doctor of economics and corresponding member of RAS professor V.A. Tsvetkov, deputy director of research at institute and doctor of economics, professor of RAS E.L. Loginov, head of the laboratory on Russia integration into the world economy, candidate of physics and mathematics, associate professor K.H. Zoidov, head of laboratory on economic regulation of ecologically sustainable management, doctor of economics, associate professor A.S. Tulupov, research fellows K.S. Yankauskas and Z.K. Zoidov. The visitors were director of the Russian and new independent states economy institute of Japanese association for the trade with Russia and new independent states (ROTOBO) Nakai Takafumi, employee of North-East Asia economy research institute (Niigata), transport expert Zuji Hisako and translator Y.S. Milzenova. During the meeting prior discussion on the state of Russian-Japanese economic relations and economy of Russia, influence of economic sanctions, projects of Russian economy development strategies after 2018, Russian digital economy development and also the prospects of scientific cooperation and exchanges of experience between MEI RAS and Japanese association for the trade ROTOBO was resumed. The outcome of the meeting was a decision to develop scientific cooperation in the field of economic analysis of Russia long-term development strategy projects and digital economy.

In MEI RAS the meeting with delegation of Chinese Academy of social science has taken place. The meeting was attended by MEI RAS director, doctor of economics and corresponding member of RAS, professor V.A. Tsvetkov and head of the laboratory on Russia integration into the world economy, candidate of physics and mathematics, associate professor K.H. Zoidov. The Chinese side was represented by vice-president of the Chinese regional economic society Zhang Jiangjiang, dean and professor of the Cinghai province Academy of social sciences, doctor of law Zhen Wei, deputy editor-in-chief of the publishing house of the Academy of social sciences of China Cai Jihui. The current state of Russian-Chinese economic relations, as well as the prospects for scientific cooperation and exchange of experience between MEI RAS and the Academy of social sciences of the PRC are discussed. It was agreed to prepare draft agreements on scientific cooperation between the MEI RAS and the Chinese side.

The meeting with the management of Xiamen Social Science Academia (China) has taken place in MEI RAS. The meeting was attended by MEI RAS director, doctor of economics and corresponding member of RAS, professor V.A. Tsvetkov, deputy director on research activity of MEI RAS, doctor of economics, professor of RAS E.L. Loginov, deputy director on research activity and scientific secretary of MEI RAS, candidate of economics A.A. Yurieva, head of the laboratory on Russia integration into the world economy, candidate of physics and mathematics, associate professor K.H. Zoidov, research fellow K.S. Yankauskas. Among visitors were vice-president of Xiamen social science academia Li Zhen, vice-president of the Xiamen social science societies association He Rujfu and director of the Research center of Xiamen development Xiu Zhanching. The state of Russian-Chinese economic relations and also the prospects of scientific cooperation, as well as exchange of experience between MEI RAS, Xiamen social science academia and the Xiamen social science societies association were discussed during the meeting. It was agreed to prepare draft agreements on scientific cooperation between MEI RAS and the Chinese party.

On November, 10-11 MEI RAS delegation has visited the economic and demographic institute of Tajikistan Republic Academy of science. During the meeting director of institute L.H. Saidmurodov and guests - MEI RAS director V.A. Tsvetkov agreed to develop scientific cooperation between the institutes.
